Wendy’s franchisees are breathing new life into Panasonic SMP systems by installing SMPLink™, a PCI compliant credit interface. The software is being used by over 150 Wendy’s restaurants.
SMPLink™ is credit card interface software developed specifically for Panasonic System Manager Pro (SMP) users that integrates seamlessly with Merchant Link’s TransactionVault® – a system that stores sensitive cardholder data in a secure vault – not on your back office computer.
Wendy’s and Vantiv (5/3 bank’s credit processing arm) would like to see franchisees to replace the Panasonic System Manager Pro software with newer pos systems; however, replacing point of sale systems can be costly. The cost to replace the software can easily reach $10,000 or more per site. SMPLink™ is significantly less costly to install.
The basic requirement is that Wendy’s sites run PA-DSS compliant software. Not only is SMPLink™ PA-DSS compliant, it was validated by Halock Security Labs.
Search on the PCI council website for yourself. Look for “Bunt Software” or “SMPLink”.
Bunt Software has over 500 SMPLink™ sites installed. SMPLink™ processes 50,000 credit transactions per day and has processed over 21 million credit transactions to date.
SMPLink™ is the ONLY PA-DSS compliant credit interface built for the Panasonic System Manager Pro (SMP) pos system.
