Merchant Link TLS Shutdown

As of today, we are just 53 days from the Merchant Link TLS shutdown. The Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard version 3.1 has identified that all versions of SSL and early versions of TLS are vulnerable to attack.

For that reason Merchant Link is shutting down support for SSL v3 and all versions of TLS prior to v1.2. This means that all SMPLink™ customers will need to upgrade to SMPLink™ v3. Any site that doesn’t upgrade will find that they can no longer process cards after June 30, 2018.

SMPLink™ has been installed in 925 sites and has processed over 300 million transactions since 2010.

SMPLink™ is the ONLY credit interface for the Panasonic System Manager Pro (SMP) pos system.
